Beautiful countryside

These are the pictures of the countryside villages in Kerala. Full of greenery, paddy fields, and coconut trees. Rapid urbanization has changed the landscape bringing concrete jungles everywhere.

  • Numerous gifts of nature, do not miss the opportunity to indulge in such treats that we may get during our hectic day to day life.
Liked this post? Well..., I have one more interesting blog, click here to check the latest updates there too😊

This is an amazing place. I love the green and other colors of nature and therefore delighted by watching pictures of oriental countries.

Całe szczęście, że urbanizacja nie wszędzie dotarła, ze są jeszcze zielone pola. *** Mam już Tłumacza, który działa. Pozdrawiam.
Fortunately, that urbanization is not reached everywhere that are still green fields. I already have a interpreter that works. Yours.

The sentiments shared by those who wanted nature to stay. And just like everywhere, our vast greeneries are dimisnishing and I am saddened that these will just be enjoyed through photos in the future.

Kerala is definitely on my list of places to visit...!!!
My dad once even bought the tickets but last minute things came up and we had to abandon our trip... sad indeed because I would have loved to be here!!!

Thanks so much for this lovely comment:)
Those are actually coconut trees. You sure will find a coconut tree everywhere in Kerala. In malayalam, our mother tongue, 'keram' means coconut tree !
Thanks again, Lucia :)

Life would be freer and more comfortable in such a countryside! I feel tropical breeze. I prefer winter to summer in Japan as our summer is notoriously humid but when air is dry, I’m all right with the heat to some extent.

Beautiful photos, Rajiv... Nature is SO special. Hubby and I love being out in nature --whether it is to take a walk or hike, to search for waterfalls, to climb to the top of a mountain for a view, to watch the birds, or even if it's to work in our yard/garden.....
Hugs,
Betsy

Your pictures are so serene and lovely. Nature is truly a gift to be enjoyed. The wonderful thing is that it is free.In our community we try to preserve as much green space as possible. It is getting more difficult with the growth of our community, however. Still, it is very much a worthy goal to help save as much of this beauty as possible. To me, nature is God's handiwork.

Wow, what a beautiful comment :)
Comments like these keep me motivated to blog with enthusiasm. You have got the message clearly about the importance of preserving Nature as much naturally as possible. Such greenery is disappearing quickly from here because of reckless urbanization. Hope everybody will take interest in Nature conservation :)
Thanks Sandy, you make me smile :)

Hi Rajiv, love the country side scenery. Enjoyed looking at the coconut trees and paddy field. Compare with staying in the hectic city life, the country side life style is so peaceful and life is so simple. Missed the good old days staying in small town.

Thanks for sharing your wonderful photos. Have a great week ahead, regards.

Rajiv Sankarapillai said...

Thanks Irina.
In hindi, the national language of India, tea beverage is 'chai'. It is 'Chaya' in malayalam, our mother tongue in Kerala. We also call tea leaves 'Theyila'.
Hope this helps.
Btw, tea is a very popular beverage in Russia and the import of tea there is huge, Russia being the top importer of tea in the world, I read somewhere !
You like tea?
I have posts about green tea. Please check the links http://magnificentdewdrops.blogspot.in/2013/03/i-enjoyed-moroccan-tea-while-visiting.html ,

Amelia, thanks.
In many ways Malaysia and Kerala are similar. There are coconut trees there too, the scenery looks more or less the same, I believe.
Enjoy your weekend :)
